The standard charger included with the light package has been used to charge lights for years. The general rule is to charge the light 2 hours for each hour of use. For example, if you burn the light 4 hours while hunting one night, you should charge the light a total of 8 hours (count burn time, not hunting time). DO NOT OVERCHARGE THE LIGHT. Grain Valley Belt Lights has a high side and low side on the Blue Ring Head, with a 5 position switch on the battery box. Always allow the bulb to warm up when switching the head from low to high. To warm up the bulb, place the battery box switch on the third or fourth position on the low side of the head prior to adjusting the head to the high position. Then burn the light on the high side of the head only with switch in the highest position. Only hunt the light with the battery switch in the fifth (highest) position when the head is on the high side of the bulb. There is a heat sensor in the switch and your light will cut out on the high side of the head if the bulb is not warmed up or not hunted on the fifth switch position. Never turn the light to the high side of the head immediately after removing from the charger as this may result in blown bulbs. Warranty. The Grain Valley Belt Light has an unsurpassed warranty. Should the light fail in the second year due to defective materials or workmanship, return it to the dealer or Grain Valley Dog Supply for an immediate resolution. We will immediately remedy your light situation and get you back in the woods. Light bulbs and glass are not warranted. After 6 months, user is responsible for return shipping from manufacturer.
